Little Red Rooster Productions is a collaborative enterprise involving the combined so-called talents of Ken Klein and Irwin Hahn, buddies from East New York, Brooklyn. Not our first venture, Jamie’s Just Great is taken from real life, as we thought it was lived, involving people whose names were changed to protect the very, very guilty.

Although we have tons of experience in theatre and indie film, we decided that the time was right to experiment with synthetically generated voices to create an audio play. We were stunned with results that were better than okay. So not Academy Award winning performances but in most cases better than community theater. We’ve both been involved in community theater so just shut the hell up, okay?

Anyway, it’s not a bad way to showcase the writing, such as it is, and it allows us to collaborate on projects while still being 3,000 miles apart.

More than anything, it was simply fun to do and right now, fun is the name of the game. Any technology that stimulates creativity and enables collaboration is just hunky dory to us. And we hope, to you, as well.
